This study examined Canadians’ awareness and knowledge of ParticipACTION after 7 years of campaigns. A population survey showed Canadians continue to demonstrate high levels of awareness of ParticipACTION. Those who are aware of the organization are more likely to have children and be inactive but hold positive beliefs about physical activity. Large knowledge gaps in awareness continue to be associated with levels of education and household income. Based on these results, future physical activity campaigns, programs, and policy initiatives should try to target different segments of the population, especially people who are disadvantaged.
