The ParticipACTION Teen Challenge Legacy

In 2007, we embarked on an incredible 10-year, $10 million partnership to break down the barriers that prevent teens from getting active. Over that time, the ParticipACTION Teen Challenge, sponsored by Coca-Cola Canada, has delivered programs and events to over 500,000 teens and over 5,000 community organizations. We are very proud of our efforts and the difference that ParticipACTION Teen Challenge has made.

Help us understand the impact of the program and inform future ParticipACTION programs to get Canadians sitting less and moving more by taking our survey HERE.

You can still help Canadians, including teens, get active with our current initiative, the ParticipACTION 150 Play List. Host events and programs and get access to microgrants HERE.

Who’s behind the ParticipACTION Teen Challenge?

Sponsored by Coca-Cola Canada through a 10-year, $10 million commitment ending in 2017, the program is administered by 13 provincial and territorial partner organizations and delivered by a network of over 5,000 registered community organizations across the nation.

Contact the ParticipACTION Teen Challenge Coordinator in your province or territory for information about registration or grant applications, guidance on the program or resources for promoting teen physical activity.
