6 ways to increase your chances of winning with the 150 Play List

The 150 Play List is a great opportunity to get active, try new activities, and possibly find one that you love. Studies show that if you enjoy an activity, you’re more likely to stick with it. That alone should be reason enough to give a few new ones a try.

1. Make a plan

The first thing you need to do is actually plan to try new things. Because you get 5 prize entries for each new activity you complete, checking off as many as possible is key. Look at the list and highlight some activities that you’ve always wanted to try, or that you think you might enjoy, and then make a specific plan it to go try it. Put it in your calendar. Figure out the logistics. These activities aren’t going to try themselves.

2. Track activities more than once

If you go play a sport every week or regularly go running or to the gym, track it every day! You get 1 prize entry every time you track an activity that you’ve already tried, which adds up quickly when you do yoga three times a week.

3. Visit an event

4. Remember to track daily activities

It’s also important not to miss tracking activities that are part of your everyday life. If you walk to the grocery store, check off walking. If you take out the trash, scrub the floors, and vacuum your living room, check off housework. If you’ve been forgetting to check off snow shovelling every time you clear the driveway, you’ve been missing out.

5. Group together similar activities

150 activities sounds like a lot, but it’s a lot less when you group together activities that you can check off at the same time. If you’re at the playground, don’t just play on the monkey bars. Start a game of grounders, play some 4-square, and go swing on the swings. If you’re going for a swim, try doing some aquafit moves and play a round or two of Marco Polo.
