This study assesses the capacity of Canadian organizations to adopt, implement, and promote physical activity initiatives, as well as awareness and perceptions of ParticipACTION at baseline and 5 years after re-launching the brand. Representatives from local, provincial/territorial, and national organizations completed an online survey, and results show that awareness of ParticipACTION almost doubled after 5 years. Both baseline and follow-up reflected good organizational capacity to adopt, implement and promote physical activity. Most respondents reported that ParticipACTION provided positive leadership (65.3%), but there was less agreement regarding ParticipACTION’s facilitation of infrastructure (44.0%) or organizational will/motivation (47.1%).
